I am currently a PhD student in Serre Lab at Brown University. Before this, I spent two years as a researcher here. In my previous life, I was a software engineer at Walmart's R&D division. I completed a Bachelor of Engineering (electrical & computer science focus), where I worked on machine learning based image compression with Prof Nagaraju Palani.
At Brown, I work with Prof Thomas Serre in the intersection of computer vision, neuroscience and cognitive science. I am really passionate about making artificial vision models inspired by biological vision - to that end, I have been working on collecting data (ECoG), building models and devising training algorithms. Off lately, I have been working on recurrent neural network models for vision.
